When I tell people I’m a vegan, their first question is usually “what do you eat?” To which I answer, “everything but meat and dairy.” I’m not trying to be rude, but really, I eat so much variety, it’s hard to describe. Most dishes contain rice, lentils, beans, grain, quinoa, or something else. Plus vegetables. And gomasio. Always gomasio. (more about gomasio later.)
To help me answer with a little more focus, I am keeping a blog of what we (my husband and I) eat on a daily/weekly basis. I’m listing my weekly menu and some photos of our delicious meals.
So, check it out. Or not. It’s really just for us to help plan, but it might help you understand what vegans eat.
